You fly to Europe, pick up your new car, and drive it around for a week or longer, return it, and then it comes to the states by boat. The car companies love this because it saves on import taxes. Volvo even flies you to Gothenburg, Sweden and puts you in a hotel for a night for free! You get to fly on SAS or BA. BMW and Benz give you small Lufthansa fare discount and a hotel night.
